Lake Michigan
Salmon & Trout Fishing

Interested in Learning how to fish Lake Michigan?

Many times, you can learn a LOT just from hiring a guide for a day, and we’re always more than happy to teach you as much as you want to learn. Ask as many questions as you’d like, we’ll be happy to answer them all. Many people especially do this for inland waters, to find the hot spots and then spend the week fishing on their own. Lake Michigan Fishing offers different challenges and isn’t as simple as finding a weed bed or “secret stump”. Although, you can learn a lot hiring a Lake Michigan Guide sometimes its hard to learn as much as you could or would like to. You may feel you don’t want to bother the crew or jeopardize the trip for the rest of your party. So here are a few options that will give you the opportunity to learn as much, or as little as you want.

Attend a Salmon Fishing Seminar:

I personally don’t do public seminars, but there’s plenty of them out there. Some are free, and some have admission prices. Some are good, and some aren’t as good. If this option fits you, try to pick one that offers multiple presentations all in one.

Online Videos & YouTube:

There’s TONS of online videos out there, many of them are specific to certain things or scenarios. But there’s also a lot of different opinions and contradicting information when it comes to online fishing videos, and its sometimes hard to figure out what works best. It’s definitely an option, and I myself watch plenty of online videos to continually build my knowledge and find new ideas.

Hands on Learning:

By far, the most effective way to learn! There’s no better way of learning than actually doing it with direction from someone who is knowledgeable in the subject. You’re able to ask questions, spend more or less time on certain aspects, and get a better feel for what you want to learn.

This, is where I come in. I offer hands on learning to anyone and everyone who wants to learn more about fishing Lake Michigan. There are a few options which I’ll list below, which range from simple questions on “what’s been working lately”, to in-depth hands on learning.
