Hi, Captain Bryan here.. A little history about myself. I’ve been Fishing Lake Michigan over the past 35+ years. My passion for fishing became an obsession, entering any and every tournament we could. We did quite well, and won countless prizes over the years. But what I enjoyed most, was watching people experience the fishery and see the excitement when they caught the biggest fish of their lives.
In 2001 I started HI-TECH Charters so I could not only spend more time on the water, but to share my passion with others. I believe it’s important to do everything I can to provide an enjoyable and successful experience. I’ve always said, “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing it right”. And I would love to share the thrill and excitement of Lake Michigan with you !
First Mates
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with some amazing guys. And recently, an amazing woman. Jim has fished with me on and off since the beginning including the past few years, and is who introduced me to fishing Lake Michigan. Pat and his outgoing personality, was a pleasure to fish with and very knowledgeable. Clayton, a quiet guy but a great fisherman and very easy going. My brother Jon, Greg, and a number of other guys over the past 21 years. All of which shared the same passion for the Lake, and who I would welcome back when their busy lives allow.
My wife Mysti helped occasionally over the years, and more so the past few years. In 2021 she took the reins as First Mate. She has a knack for spotting color patterns in bites, and does a great job at keeping me focused. She has earned the respect of many of the local captains and mates, and has a great working relationship with many of them which helps everyone.
